Rock band James will perform an intimate show in Middlesbrough ahead of their sold-out UK summer tour.

James is a rock band from Manchester that has sold over 25 million albums over a career spanning 42 years. They gained a following in the 1980s and found chart success in the 1990s with hits like “Come Home” and “Sit Down.” Also popular were “Sound” and “Sometimes.”
Their fifth album, Laid, produced by Brian Eno, helped them enter the US charts. They released more hit albums, including Whiplash, Millionaires, and Pleased to Meet You. They also added more hit singles, such as “Tomorrow” and “She’s a Star,” as well as “Just Like Fred Astaire” and “Getting Away with It (All Messed Up).”
Following Middlesbrough, James plays other UK shows, including the Isle of Wight Festival. They also have two sold-out shows at Piece Hall, and will play at Cardiff Castle, joined by Shed Seven and Jamie Webster.
James plays Middlesbrough Town Hall on April 30. Tickets go on sale March 21 at 9:30 AM.
